HAHN is an owner-managed insurance agency, now in its second generation: eight specialists, dedicated contacts and more than 4,000 clients – businesses from nine industries and private clients from Bremen and across Germany. We combine personal advice with our own software, so that administration and claims do not take up your time.

Commitment, confidentiality and responsibility are not empty phrases. In the event of a claim, we remain your point of contact: we report the claim to the insurer, prepare the documents, clarify any queries with you and follow the settlement through until the payment has reached you.

Together we draw up a risk matrix: what can happen, what would it cost, what is insured, and what do you bear yourself? It reveals gaps and weak points – and remains the point of reference in the years that follow.
Costs
We identify unnecessary cover and sensible excess levels, and negotiate with your existing insurer on the basis of comparable quotes from the insurers we work with.
Processes
We take administration off your hands: recording claims, a claims hotline for your employees, documentation for your company pension scheme – via the client portal, also on your smartphone, where you can view contracts, claims and your correspondence with the insurers.

Since 1975: our history
Founded in Bremen, first website, client portal, bAV365 and flotte365 – the milestones of an insurance agency in its second generation.

Founded in Bremen. Since then, the firm has been supporting businesses and private clients in insurance matters.
- 2001
HAHN goes online with its own website; from 2002, online calculators and online applications for residential building, motor and legal expenses insurance follow.
- 2017
The client portal with an electronic insurance folder and app is in use: contracts and documents – applications, policies, endorsements, correspondence – can be viewed online and on mobile devices.
- 2019
Claims can be reported via the client portal, and their processing status can be viewed online. bAV365, the platform for managing company pension provision, is accessible via its own login.
- Today
Eight specialists in five departments look after more than 4,000 clients, businesses and private clients alike – an owner-managed firm in its second generation, with personal service and dedicated contacts. Administration and service run on our own software – the newly developed client portal login.hahn.eu and flotte365 for fleet management – and on the company pension platform bAV365.
Our office in Bremen
Our office is at Hohenlohestraße 14 in Barkhof, part of Bremen's Schwachhausen district, a few minutes' walk from the main railway station (Hauptbahnhof) and the Bürgerpark – at the same address for more than 20 years. For a personal meeting, it is best to make an appointment; the claims hotline takes motor claims around the clock.

By tram and bus: Rembertistraße stop (about three minutes' walk) or Hauptbahnhof-Nord/Messe (about five minutes' walk); from the main railway station it is around 600 metres on foot.
Our legal status
HAHN GmbH & Co. KG is an insurance agent licensed under Section 34d (1) of the German Trade Regulation Act (Gewerbeordnung, GewO) and a multi-company agent (we act for several insurers), entered in the register of insurance intermediaries (kept by the DIHK) under number D-DHEC-YRYEI-72. We arrange insurance on behalf of several insurers we work with; for this we receive a commission from the insurer. You will find all mandatory disclosures in our initial information under Section 15 of the Insurance Mediation Regulation (VersVermV) and, should you have any criticism, the steps to take in our complaints procedure.
