Privacy policy
This privacy policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit hahn.eu, for what purpose, and what rights you have.
This is a courtesy translation for your convenience. The German version is legally binding.
1. Controller
The controller responsible for data processing on this website is:
HAHN GmbH & Co. KG, Hohenlohestraße 14, 28209 Bremen
- Telephone +49 421 16 820-0
- Email info@hahn.eu
2. Data protection officer
You can reach our data protection officer at: HAHN GmbH & Co. KG, Data Protection Officer (Datenschutzbeauftragte), Hohenlohestraße 14, 28209 Bremen, telephone +49 421 16 820-0, email datenschutz@hahn.eu.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by the following provider: ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, proprietor René Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf.
The provider is a processor within the meaning of Art. 28 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); the servers are located in Germany. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider.
Each time this website is accessed, the server automatically collects information transmitted by your browser and stores it in server log files:
- IP address of the accessing device
- Date and time of access
- Page or file accessed
- Browser type and version, operating system
- Referrer (the page visited previously, if your browser transmits it)
This processing is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in operating the website, ensuring its stability and security and being able to detect attacks or faults. The log files are not combined with other data sources and are stored only for as long as is necessary to detect and prevent faults; they are then deleted or anonymised.
4. No cookies, no tracking
This website does not set cookies and does not use any analytics, tracking or advertising services. No social media plug-ins are embedded. The font used is loaded from our own server; no connection to Google Fonts or other third-party providers is established for this purpose. A cookie notice is therefore not required.
5. Contacting us
Contact form: when you send us an enquiry via the contact form, we process the details you enter there – the subject of your enquiry, your name, company (optional), email address, telephone number (optional) and your message. These details are sent by email to info@hahn.eu, where they are dealt with. We need the details marked with * in order to handle your enquiry; the form cannot be sent without them.
The purpose of this processing is to handle your enquiry and, where applicable, to prepare a quote. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). Please do not send health data via the form – we will discuss this with you directly.
To protect against automated spam submissions, the form relies solely on technical checks: a form field that is invisible to human visitors and must remain empty, and a check of the time elapsed between opening and submitting the form. No cookies are set and no data is transmitted to third parties in the process.
Email and telephone: when you contact us by email or telephone, we process the data you provide in doing so (for example your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry) in order to deal with your request. The legal basis is likewise Art. 6 (1) (b) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. For email and mailboxes we use Microsoft 365, provided by Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd., Dublin, on the basis of a data processing agreement incorporating the EU standard contractual clauses; messages from the contact form are also delivered to these mailboxes.
Retention period and disclosure: we store your data until your enquiry has been resolved. If a contract is concluded, we retain the data in line with the statutory retention obligations. Data is passed on to third parties only at your request (for example to obtain quotes from insurers) or where we are legally obliged to do so.
6. Client portal and other services
This website links to our client portal at login.hahn.eu and to our services flotte365.de and bav365.de. The portal is a separate system with its own privacy information, which is linked there; the two websites each have their own privacy policies. No data is transferred to these systems when you visit hahn.eu.
7. Processing in connection with insurance mediation
If you become a client, we process your data in order to arrange, administer and service your insurance contracts and transmit it to the insurers involved. We inform you about this processing separately in our privacy information for clients and in our initial information under Section 15 of the Insurance Mediation Regulation (VersVermV); it is not covered by this website privacy policy.
8. Your rights
As a data subject, you have the following rights in relation to us:
- Access to the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Objection to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR, see below)
To exercise your rights, please contact info@hahn.eu or our data protection officer (see section 2).
Right to object: where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, you have the right to object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 (1) GDPR). We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for us is the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen (Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit der Freien Hansestadt Bremen), Georgstraße 122–124, 27570 Bremerhaven, www.datenschutz.bremen.de.
